An Ekiti APC chieftain, Prince Gabriel Omodara, popularly known as “Baba QC,” has died at the age of 93, prompting an outpouring of tributes from Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the Ekiti Council of Elders and political leaders across the state.
The respected politician and community leader died in the early hours of Sunday after decades of service to Ekiti State, where he earned recognition for his commitment to grassroots politics, community development and progressive leadership.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, the governor said Omodara devoted his energy to strengthening the All Progressives Congress and promoting peace, unity and development within Ekiti State.

He added that Omodara’s contributions to the growth of progressive politics in Ekiti would remain an important part of the state’s political history.
